A LUMBERING SOUL
BUT TRYING TO FLY

I fell with style.

Skydiving.
There really were no words to describe what it was like to watch my friend fall out of an airplane, waddle up to the edge of an open plane, and jump out.
I would like to say however, if you haven't skydived, it is something that you must do at least one time in your life. And if you need someone to go with, I would be more than happy to join you.

I am about to get into an airplane tomorrow with no intentions of staying in it until it lands.
I am going to jump out of the airplane, right when it's at its highest point.

Ernest Hemingway was a genius.

He once was asked to tell a story in under ten words. This was his response:

In only 6 words he managed to tell a story that carries with it such weight, pain, loss, and emotion.

I wish I could write like Hemingway.

It was a beautiful night last night. The rain had passed and all that was left was a full moon and the smell of rain.

I realized something today.

I was in Turkey for two weeks and I have yet to tell you about it on here.

So here it is:

My heart hurts.

Not in some deep way as though I lost. It literally just hurts. A lot.
