A LUMBERING SOUL
BUT TRYING TO FLY

I fell with style.

Skydiving.
There really were no words to describe what it was like to watch my friend fall out of an airplane, waddle up to the edge of an open plane, and jump out.
I would like to say however, if you haven't skydived, it is something that you must do at least one time in your life. And if you need someone to go with, I would be more than happy to join you.

I've been asked a lot recently"Were you scared out of your mind!?"
The simple answer is, no. I wasn't.
This was due, undoubtedly to much prayer in the previous weeks leading up the skydiving though. The scariest part was about 3 minutes before I got on the plane, but that passed, I got on the plane, I got hooked to my instructor, and then I fell, 13,500 feet. If you are curious to what it looks like to fly, here is a picture.

By the way the reason my arms are not stuck out yet is because we have to keep them in until my instructor stabilizes us a little bit more.
There are some experiences in life that shatter your confidence even when it is very high, for instance, renting a moped in Kushadi, Turkey having never ridden a moped before, promising nothing will happen. Then one minute and twenty-eight seconds later finding yourself a quarter mile down the road with a broken throttle and faulty breaks realizing that man sitting on his moped is the only thing that will stop you. Then hitting him. Then being yelled at in Turkish and being very confused, sorry, and truthfully a bit scared because well everyone you know was ahead of you on their moped and you somehow got left behind.
It's those type of situations that will just kill any amount of confidence you've built up.

But jumping out of an airplane, flying, free falling for 60 seconds, pulling your shoot and landing on earth. Those help build it back up again.

And my last note for this blog is that I love my friends to death. I have wanted a Mac computer since I can remember. And a few days ago one of my amazing friends texts me this:
"Do you happen to need a computer by any chance?"
She goes on to tell me that she got a new one and wanted to give hers to someone who needed one.
So she gave it to me!!
It's a Mac!

Isn't God good!?!
Oh any by the way, thank you. Truly.
